A note on artisan paintwork:
- Our candles are hand-painted, so small variations are intentional and part of their charm. Unpack gently to avoid damaging the paintwork.
- Exposure to direct sunlight may cause neon accents to soften slightly over time - store proudly, but out of strong UV where possible.

To get the best (and safest) burn from your hand-painted neon dinner candles, please follow these simple tips:
• Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting each time. This prevents smoke, drips and oversized flame.
• Burn away from drafts (open windows, radiators, fans). Movement = tunneling, dripping and uneven melting.
• Allow a full melt pool on the first burn (around 1–2 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and gives a longer, cleaner burn.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Safety first, always.
• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface to protect furniture. A candlestick or holder is recommended.
• Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
• Extinguish with a snuffer rather than blowing if possible - it’s gentler and avoids wax splatter.
• Do not relight when only 1cm of wax remains. Time to retire her gracefully.

Every Bombaby piece is a labour of love, not mass production. Designed in Rutland and handcrafted in Jaipur, our bespoke block print bedding and quilted accessories take 4–6 weeks to create - from hand-blocking and stitching, to quilting and their voyage from India to the UK.

Each fabric is printed to order by skilled artisans using the centuries-old technique of hand block printing - an intricate process where wooden blocks are hand-carved, dipped in natural dyes, and carefully pressed onto fabric, layer by layer. Because of this, you may notice small smudges, ink splashes, or slight variations in the print - these are not flaws, but the hallmarks of true craftsmanship.

To reduce waste, we also use surplus fabrics for linings, piping, and trims - so colours and patterns may vary slightly from batch to batch. This only adds to the bespoke, one-of-a-kind nature of our designs.

Unlike factory-made textiles, no two pieces are ever identical, making your item truly unique. These handcrafted details are a badge of authenticity, celebrating slow fashion, tradition, and artistry.

We also print to order to minimise waste and plant a tree for every purchase, helping to offset emissions.
