Our first launch of block print pyjamas is an exciting one and I'm so thrilled to reveal our pretty scallop neckline that makes these light cotton pyjamas even prettier than you can imagine. A fluted pyjama top (for extra comfort) and an elasticated waistband (what else?), means that these are the ultimate in comfort.

Our pyjamas are handmade, from start to finish; beginning with the block print pink heart fabric, to the scallop edging and aqua piping. The skill involved in creating these is exceptional and they are a real treat, knowing that they have been slowly made by artisans in Jaipur; we also make every effort to ensure that our freight - to and within the UK - is as sustainable and climate-friendly as possible.

Ethical | Bespoke | Handmade

Every Bombaby piece is a labour of love, not mass production. Designed in Rutland and handcrafted in Jaipur, our bespoke block print bedding and quilted accessories take 4–6 weeks to create - from hand-blocking and stitching, to quilting and their voyage from India to the UK.

Each fabric is printed to order by skilled artisans using the centuries-old technique of hand block printing - an intricate process where wooden blocks are hand-carved, dipped in natural dyes, and carefully pressed onto fabric, layer by layer. Because of this, you may notice small smudges, ink splashes, or slight variations in the print - these are not flaws, but the hallmarks of true craftsmanship.

To reduce waste, we also use surplus fabrics for linings, piping, and trims - so colours and patterns may vary slightly from batch to batch. This only adds to the bespoke, one-of-a-kind nature of our designs.

Unlike factory-made textiles, no two pieces are ever identical, making your item truly unique. These handcrafted details are a badge of authenticity, celebrating slow fashion, tradition, and artistry.

We also print to order to minimise waste and plant a tree for every purchase, helping to offset emissions.
